This project is for the construction of a new concrete bridge across Sg. Kurau at Kuala Kurau connecting Federal Route 75 (FT075) to Perak State Route (A100), in the District of Kerian, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

This bridge involves the construction of a new dual two stages of construction.

1. Phase 1 - This contract is for the initial works which incorporates a two lane bridge and substructure for a dual two lane bridge.
2. Phase 2 - At the second stage the crossing is developed to a dual two lane bridge by others.

The work shall consist of the construction of a main bridge of a balanced cantilever construction box-girder bridge with spans 55m + 100m +120m+100m+55m; two approach spans with 4 spans of 40.0m Post- tensioned T-beams on each side and an elevated R.C. structure 500mm long.

The bridge is founded on 1000mm diameter prestressed concrete spun piles.
