The propose Second Penang Bridge will connect Penang Island to the Mainland across the Southern Channel of the Penang Straits.The Second Bridge starts at Batu Maung on Penang Island from a New Interchange on the Bayan Lepas Expressway and traverses the Southern Channel of the existing Penang Bridge to meet the Main land at Batu Kawan.
The Sub Package 3A shall include all the Civil and Structural works for the Construction of the Batu Maung Interchange until CH 543.460m of the Expressway. |
